Furthermore, as a user you don't have an account with any purchase history on their site, so I have to go back to my email and find the confirmation mail for the upgrade and click the link there. What's worse is that with repeated emails to the company, I GET NO REPLIES. But since then, I have to reinstall EVERYTIME I try to use these advanced festures!?! I click on the 'activate feature' popup and it takes me to a sales page.aargh. The thing that is monumentally frustrating is that after a month or so where these features worked fine, I had to reinstall.

I followed this with the OCR purchase which is fare, but not great. When I first purchased the upgrade Pro I was very pleased.
